A book of greetings to emma from 20-30 friends. Mostly written in prose or poetry in Beautiful forms of Diverse penmanship and doodles. Cover inlaid with blue, green, pink and turquoise abalone or mother of pearl over 700 pieces imbedded in the beautiful border cover with bright gold gilt decorations. the center of cover has some inlaid mother of pearl pieces 1 1/2 inches long and smaller forming a tree of blossoms and leaves. Although pages separated, A fabulous album of greetings of good luck, remembrance in handwrittings (of lettering, penmanship, and the lost art of elegant cursive penmanship ) of 1850's.Foxing to pages.
