Book is signed by the author on the afixed bookplate. Protective Mylar cover on the dust jacket. Dust jacket has small tears, folds, and fading. Gilt title on the the cover and spine. Front and back hinge cracks. Black and white photographs. The pages of the book are discolored, edges are yellowed, otherwise book is still in very good condition. Alfred Pritchard Sloan Jr. became vice president of operations of General Motors in 1920 at the time GM. held only 12% of the market. When he retired chairman in 1956 General Motors Corporation held 56% of the market.
