a collection of 10 Black and white christmas and new years note cards, all having Rockwell Kent ill. fronts, printed on rag paper, some cards contain printed text & signed by either Gladys and George Spector or Alex Shaner, an invitation to George and Gladys 25th wedding anniversary 1983 at the Windows on the World Trade Center 107th floor noon til 5pm & serparate note of directions via water, subway, or auto w/ free parking, & entrance on west st. taxi or bus also an announcement of: Having color Ill of Painting America Land of Our Fathers 1956-1959 on Oil Canvas, 2 sets of duplicates (10 different illustrations 12 total cards), one color landscape...... Spector, Gladys.. a rare book and antique dealer who became a leading authority on the artist Rockwell Kent, Mrs. Spector, with her husband George, was the founder and publisher of the Kent Collector, a quarterly publication that they began in 1974. Mrs. Spector started collecting antiques, books, prints, and other works of art in earnest in 1957 and specialized in the work of Rockwell Kent. Mrs. Spector was a member of the Long Island Book Dealers Association and the Long Island Book Collectors.
