Front cover has some staining to one corner only else in good condition; some minor rubbing to top and bottom portion of spine cover; corners well rubbed and worn; One of the Waverly Novels. Biographical Introduction by Edmund K. Chambers. Frontis and 5 other BW illustrations by Claude A Shepperson. No inscriptions. a few little spots of foxing ato frontis, title page and endpapers. Attractive blue cloth cover Arts Nouveau binding by Talwin Morris Art noveau decorated cover with peacock eyes, gold gilt lettering on cover & spine, good binding, clean body and unmarked text. General shelf wear; corners and spine bumped and rubbed. Overall in Gift Quality condition.
