Last page reads.....Elsie Singmaster's Little and Unknown from her book, Bred in the Bone, is privately printed by Franklin Printing Company, Philadelphia. The designing and illustrations are the work of Edward C. Smith. The fine line etchings are from Philadelphia-Weeks Engraving Co., and the typography is by R. Moore Smith, produced under the direction of the Creative Division of the Company. This is one of a limited number of copies, and is made possible through the special permission of Houghton Mifflin Company, publishers of Bred in the Bone . Little and Unknown is protected through copyright of the publishers. This limited edition is outside of commerce, and is intended for selected distribution.
