Front cover of DJ reads: A revised and extended edition of Mr. Ricardo's earlier work on high-speed internal-combustion engines. The book deals mainly with general principals rather than specific designs, and a chapter is devoted to the modern high-speed Diesel engine. The dust jacket of this book is torn at the spine and worn around the edges all around. On the front endpaper it has the previous owners signature. The pages and edges throughout the book are slightly discolored. None of the pages are torn or have marks. All photos and diagrams throughout the book are in black and white and black ink.
