Overall Condition is: POOR
Vol I: 1853 All over impressed design on cloth covered boards. Wear through of cloth at few spots along edges. Gilt lettering on spine is in nice condition. Book plates inside front cover. Light to moderate foxing through out book. Inside is clean and binding is good. Vol II: 1861 back hinge cracked, book badly rubbed around edges, frayed & chipped at top/bottom of spine, front cover has a crack mark on spine, some pages have brown spots (foxing)
