green cloth hardcover; worn stained boards sunning darkening and discoloration on spine; black lettering front/spine; rubbed and worn corners fraying; bookplate; previous owner inscription on front end page. Inscription reads: To Mr William R, Parrott with best wishes from Oscar of the Waldorf , there is also bw photograph of men at a dining room table (name noted on the back Parrott) -- LAID IN. The whole flavored with Dashes of History mixed in a shaker of Anecdote and served with a chaser illuminative information.
