Maroon cloth boards have gold lettering on spine. Chips and wear around the edges and corners. Shelf wear noted. Both volumes have mylar protective covers. Pages are browning, uncut and rough cut. Slight foxing to end papers. Both volumes have several beautiful black and white pull outs, maps & etchings etc. Title page states Travels and Works of Captain John Smith President of Virginia, and Admiral of New England 1580-1631. Edited by Edward Arber, F.S.A.; A New Edition, with a Biograhical and Critical Introduction, by A.G. Bradley.
