NOTES: Abraham Cohen,MD., innovative organizer of Jefferson's first arthritis clinic 1931. Dr. Abraham Cohen was one of the pioneer rheumatologists in the United States. Cohen (Jefferson, 1925) was a member of the staff of Jefferson Hospital with special interest in its arthritis clinic from 1931 lU1til his death in 1969. In addition, he was active at the Philadelphia General Hospital and headed an arthritis clinic at that hospital for many years.
