Pages are slightly yellow but in very good condition. First edition is 1892, this is 2nd printing of first edition dated 1893. Designed for the use of practitioners and students of medicine. Osler was a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, London. A Professor of Medicine in the Johns Hopkins University and Physician-In-Chief to the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore. Formerly Professor of the Institutes of Medicine, McGill University, Montreal. Professor of Clinincal Medicine in the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.Listed on 1895, other Medical and Hygenic works in the last eight pages of the book.The four pages that precede this list display Titles and descriptions of other medical works which can be sold by subscription only.
