Consisting of views, plans, elevations, sections, and details of the Most Remarkable Edifices in the World. Forty engravings, executed in the first manner, after drawings by the most distinguished architects and artists with archaeological and descriptive notices. The board has major wear to the front and back covers and soild. Front and back hinge cracked. The spine cloth is partially removed with portions still in place. The lower portion of the front cover is detached from the spine but in place. Pages foxing and browning, all edges discoloration, edge wear, corners have bumps and rubs. Gilt title and design on cover. Cover darkening. Previous owner's bookplate and signature in ink on front paste-down page.
