Heritage Press,New york,new york,1943. Leather. Book condition:very good.limited edition. Black and white illustrations,decorative blue endpapers, blue 3/4 leather over blue,gilt decorations and titles and fore edges. A very clean neat hard cover copy overall with moderate shelf wear,fore corner tips worn through leather to boards, with a single chip from the top of the leather back strip, hinges and binding tight, paper lightly yellowed. Lacking slipcase. Still good looking, but a nice reading copy only. This edition orignally issued by the limited editios club and then re issued by the lower priced macy sister imprint Heritage Press. Thsi copy seems to have been especially rebound by the charles E. lauriat books company of boston. No bookplate. Title gilted.
